The Atlanta condo market has a decent amount of inventory out there right now. Another project was just announced in Buckhead. This paricular project has a very prestigious address on Peachtree which is in the heart of Buckead. I actually used to live in Buckhead for 5 years so I know the town pretty well and it is the place to be. There are a lot of Atlanta Condos out there right now, but location and luxury seems to be the key selling points. Price is not that much of an issue, because the prices are actually affordable for Atlanta Condos compared to other markets in general.
This project is called The Gallery Condominium. It has one-, two- and three-bedroom homes, at what its Web site calls a "prestigious Peachtree address in Buckhead." The one-bedroom units start in the mid-$400,000's, according to the site, and the others top out at over $1 million. Its developers, Novare Group and Coro Realty Advisors, are fitting the units with high-end appliances and hardwood kitchen floors, and providing two club rooms, a pool, a tennis court and an art gallery in the lobby, said Cathy Wooten, a spokeswoman for Novare Group. - Source AJC.com

Atlanta is one of the fastest growing cities in the world and is also home to the busiest airport in the world. Business is booming in Atlanta and it has truley become an American hub for corporation. Home Deport and Coca-Cola are just two of the largest companies in the world to hold their headquarters in Atlanta. Funny enough, I actually did consulting work for both of those companies when I lived in Atlanta so I was able to see how they function. A lot of the Atlanta condo buyers are employees for these major coroporations and new housing will encourage more companies to move to Atlanta as well.
