Washington DC - A Fresh Beginning!

I’m from Washington DC.  Born and raised.  That means that when I was 18, I left the Capitol City and headed down south to Emory, in Atlanta for college.  I missed out.  I was conceived too early.  What I mean by this is that I never really got to experience the new DC.  Washington DC condos are sprouting up all over the city.  With the rise of new DC condos, comes new everything...new shops, restaurants, night clubs, and new gangs in Anacostia, just to name a few.  I travel back to DC usually once a year for Thanksgiving which coincides with my birthday.  It’s a great time for me.  I engorge my stomach with my Mother’s first-rate stuffing, turkey and a myriad of other Thanksgiving treats and I get presents!  This past Thanksgiving holiday, I went out for a drive downtown and got to see all of the condos going up – including: 555 Mass Ave., Capitol Hill Tower, Potomac Place Tower and many others.  It just blew my mind to see that DC has changed so much.  I’m excited to go back for Thanksgiving and see more condos.
